The Codex Vault 2 is the next generation, on-set or near-set media management environment. Fast transfers, automated production management, full reporting, rugged design and a compact size make the Vault 2 the hub of any on-set or near-set file based workflow. The Codex Vault 2 is the most fully featured of the Vault family.

VAULT 2 PRODUCTION provides an entire dailies, archiving and QC system that is ideal for near-set environments.
VAULT 2 PRODUCTION includes Process, Storage, Archive and Review modules and allows for the ingest of media from Codex Capture Drives, REDMAGs, Sony AXSM media, SxS cards, and CF cards.
The Archive module provides two Quantum LTO-5 drives. Data is written using LTFS (Linear Tape File System) simultaneously to both drives for dual back ups of all camera original data with a full verification and redundancy check.

The Review module allows for the playback of camera original data to an external monitor at up to 4K resolution. The images can be zoomed, panned and tagged for a full visual QC.

Metadata can be checked and corrected and original camera data can be cloned to 8 terabytes of internal or removable storage, Codex Transfer Drives and external hard drives with full checksum verification. Dailies deliverables such as Avid MXF files and Apple MOV files can be generated with LUTs and burn-ins applied when desired. Production sound can be synced with picture for sound-synced dailies.
