FUJIFILM

Beginning in 1934 as Japan's pioneering photographic film maker, Fujifilm has leveraged its imaging and information technology to become a global presence known for innovation in healthcare, graphic arts, optical devices, highly functional materials and other high-tech areas.
When Fujinon developed the ZK Series, the goal was to create a zoom lens with optical performance on a par with that of a prime lens. To see whether this ambitious goal was achieved, Tokyo video production group Ellroy Inc. carried out a thorough hands-on investigation. The pros at Ellroy use single-focus prime lenses on a daily basis and have extensive experience of shooting video and still images at 4K and even 6K resolution. They looked to tackle a common perception among creators in the advertising industry: the idea that zoom lenses, for all their undoubted functionality, can fall short when it comes to image quality. Would the ZK Series be able to flip that notion on its head? ‘PL-mount cine zoom lenses that boast high functionality based on a detachable servo drive unit. The lineup of four lenses covers focal lengths from 14 mm to 300 mm. Boasting an extensive track record of adoption in TV dramas and in film, including Hollywood movies, they represent the crystallization of technologies nurtured in fields beyond those of cine lenses and broadcast TV lenses.

RED Digital Cinema

Describe it as a perfect storm. A mad scientist, with the passion and resources to make his dreams come true, a team of brilliant specialists that shared his passion and, finally, the moment in history when the technology would be possible. All factors were necessary for the dream to be realized.

The genesis of RED stirred in 2005, with the first RED ONE camera being delivered in August of 2007. Jim Jannard, the owner and founder of sportswear and sunglass icon, Oakley, set out to realize his ultimate quest, to build the world's best cameras. Starting literally out of a warehouse garage, he and a small group of pioneers changed the face of the motion picture industry. Based on the RAW file capture of digital SLRs, the RED team engineered a camera capable of recording RAW, 4K images at up to 30 frames per second. Digital cinema, on a modern scale, was born.

Built in early 2006, RED's first testing platform, a mere sliver of what would ultimately become MYSTERIUM®, was used to create the first image. From the humble beginnings of a wooden box came proof that the technology could work. There was much to do, many problems to solve, but the sensor was viable. From this point forward, history would be made.

SONY

Originally called Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo (Tokyo Telecommunications Engineering Company), Sony's roots go back over half a century to 1946 when it was founded by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita.
In the crippled post-war Japanese economy Ibuka and Morita made their living repairing radios and manufacturing small numbers of voltmeters whilst looking to develop a future in designing and manufacturing new electronics.
Perhaps surprisingly, their first electronic innovation was an automatic rice cooker. Its success was limited but it was the first in a long line of innovations, which continue today.
Ibuka and Morita were global thinkers. They realized the need for a global brand which crossed cultural and language borders in order to expand the business in the US and later Europe.
Another company was already using TTK so a new name, Sony, was conceived.
The name Sony derives from the Latin word sonus meaning sound and the English word sonny-boy - a term used by the Americans in the 1950's to denote a bright youngster.
Although the name of the company was not officially changed to Sony Corporation until 1958, the first Sony branded product was the TR-55 transistor radio, which went on sale in 1955.
From then on the firm grew into a glaobal electronics manufacturer deverisifing and specializing in many fields if not all electronic markets.

Aircam

Aircam Drone Services provides close-range aerial cinematography for customers around the world in a variety of industries.
But what we really are is photographers and cinematographers who have a burning love for some rather expensive and very technical toys. Cinematographers who love gadgets and flying and taking insanely good pictures from the air. Or wherever.

We build or customize most of our gear ourselves, basing design and modifications on our over 20 years of  flying experience and even deeper photography know-how. The result is a range of products and solutions that are capable of lifting and carrying advanced photographic set-ups with extreme dependability, ruggedness, and stability.
Aircam’s gear may be powered by batteries (or JetA1) but those behind the gear are driven by passion. We love what we do and it shows. Our experience and dedication to both photography and flying result in a level of service and quality that is hard to find. In addition, tinkerers as we are, we can’t help but messing about with the tech toys. Our design & development department produces aerial platforms and camera gimbals to meet the high requirements of aerial on-location shooting, both today and tomorrow.

We are certified to fly professional UAS operations and never do anything to endanger the safety of those involved in our work or anyone else who happens to be nearby.
